When Jake Theisen put the last banana aside before hitting the hay, he had every intention of enjoying it with his morning coffee. As an extra security measure, he even relocated it from the fruit bowl to the fridge, behind the leftover pound cake. But as Jake soon learned, life (and his early rising wife Jurene) often find a way to surprise you. Jake calmly made then necessary adjustment, deciding instead to finish off the last of the pound cake... which he knew Jurene was planning to enjoy after dinner.
