First hot dog of summer "not as great as I remember" says lakeside resident Joe Shipa.

You know how it is when you get all excited about something, and then it's just not as great as you remember? It can happen to the best of us, and this past Thursday the best of us was long-time resident and hot dog aficionado Joe Shipa. "I waited all year for this moment, and to be honest, it was just okay. In fact, it tasted a bit rubbery, and I don't remember hot dogs giving me such heartburn." At PLN, we hate to see any of our readers disappointed. But lesson learned, and Joe managed his expectations a little better on the hamburger and grilled corn, which he described as "pretty good;" and after a couple of cold beers, the second dog seemed to perform better than the first.
