Weekender is warned, "Use that pork chop before it goes bad."
Weekender Charlie Dross, contemplating dinner options, dodged a bullet this past Sunday when he got a call from his partner, who was by then halfway back to the city. Charlie learned that an $18 pork chop had been left behind in the fridge. If he didn't cook the chop Sunday night, it would never survive until they were both back at Pondering Lake in five days. Charlie was quick to respond, putting his previously planned salmon fillet back in the freezer, and no food was wasted.
